In the fall of 2006, Vanessa and I went to our first exhibition outside of Germany, namely the International LEGOFan weekend in Skærbæk, Denmark (Skærbæk is located about 10 km from the North Sea, near the island Rømø). Lego fans from many countries came together. Apart from Germans, I remember Danes (of course!), Dutch, French, Austrians and even Norwegians. In the evening, after having had a couple of beers, the day ended in a wonderful gibberish. We also had the opportunity to rent beautiful wooden bungalows at reduced costs directly at the exhibition ground. Vanessa and I took advantage of this opportunity, and, like many others, spent a few more days as a vacation. One of these days we used to visit to the Legoland Billund, which is about 100 kilometres away from Skærbæk.
